Oliver Churm

I am an MA Law graduate who has recently passed SQE1 and am progressing towards qualification as a solicitor. I have recently joined Higgs LLP as a Legal Assistant in the Corporate Team and am delighted to be starting my training contract with the firm next year. This role offers me the opportunity to enhance my legal knowledge and commercial expertise while contributing to a team that supports businesses through complex and high-value transactions.

Previously, I gained valuable experience at Davisons Law, specialising in property work and at Shakespeare Martineau, where I worked within a team assisting the Solicitors Regulation Authority on regulatory interventions. These experiences developed my ability to navigate high-stakes legal matters, assess regulatory compliance and manage sensitive interventions with precision and professionalism.

With a meticulous approach to legal work and a strong sense of commercial awareness, I thrive in environments that demand accuracy, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. I am eager to continue developing my expertise within the corporate team and the wider Higgs family.
