I work closely with our investors and advisers to identify and execute strategic acquisitions, ensuring strong cultural alignment with Higgs’ core values and disciplined financial performance.

I combine deep commercial acumen and extensive experience in law firm management with my 25+ years M&A background.

Under my leadership, the firm is further evolving into a modern, data-driven legal platform which brings together legal excellence, corporate discipline, operational rigour and entrepreneurial ambition

Successfully advised 100’s of (largely OMB/SME) clients on the disposal of their businesses to UK and overseas acquirers or to private equity. Sale proceeds/deal values typically range from £3M to well over £100M.
Represented a number of serial acquirers over the years to support their buy and build strategies, with a view to either exit or flotation. For one client for example, we completed over 30 acquisitions prior to them floating on AIM.
Helped multiple clients plan for succession or exit, now in conjunction with our succession planning and tax teams.
