"I am a commercial property lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience, specialising in acquisitions, disposals, lease transactions, asset management and corporate support.”

Following a law degree at Oxford University, I qualified as a lawyer with Birmingham-based national law firm, Pinsent Masons, where I spent 14 years working on a broad range of corporate real estate matters.

In 2010, I moved in-house to the charity behind the National Cycle Network, Walk Wheel and Cycle Trust, where I was the sole general counsel, providing commercial property transaction advice, delivering contract reviews, and supporting the estate management team.

I joined a Midland-based boutique commercial law firm in April 2024 and moved to Higgs LLP in October 2025.

My expertise includes:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • property investment and finance
  • lease transactions
  • general asset and estate management
  • corporate support

I have particular experience in the following sectors:

  • industrial
  • retail
  • leisure and hospitality
  • charities
  • housing stock transfers
  • At Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, I was part of a professional team dedicated to improving access to sustainable transport and supporting local communities through infrastructure development on the National Cycle Network.
  • I advised staff and Board members on charity, land and property issues, managed conveyancing transactions, and auction sales of surplus land. I oversaw land acquisitions and divestments, as well as the granting of rights to third parties.
