Chandelle McFarlane

I am a trainee solicitor in the commercial litigation team. Prior to joining Higgs LLP, I worked as a Divorce Admin Officer at HMCTS. 

I graduated from the University of Law with a First-Class Honours degree in Law and a Distinction in the LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management. 

During my studies, I undertook work experience at CPS, volunteered with the Midlands Employment Law Advice Line, and had the opportunity to shadow a Judge at the Civil Courts.

I joined Higgs as a trainee solicitor in September 2024 after a successful spring vacation scheme through the Birmingham Law Society Diversity Access Scheme.

I am a mentor with Tyro Lawyer and Birmingham Black Lawyers, providing support and guidance to students aged 16 and above with an interest in working in Law.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing in a local netball league and spending time with friends and family.
