I joined Higgs in 2026 as part of the acquisition, providing employment law and human resources advice, consultancy, and Employment Tribunal representation in a way that is convenient and readily accessible to clients.

I advise employers on all aspects of traditional employment law areas, including redundancies and restructuring projects, variation of terms and conditions, TUPE transfers, and discrimination law.

Typically, I aim to help organisations resolve staffing issues in the way which best suits them and with as little risk as possible. This can entail advising on all kinds of recruitment and dismissal processes, performance and absence management, dealing with ACAS and trade unions, and the Employment Tribunal regime if necessary.

I act for clients of all sizes, from SMEs to large employment businesses. My expertise allows me to tailor appropriate advice to benefit all clients. I have practised employment law exclusively throughout my career, specialising now in advising employers, particularly independent schools, in the increasingly complex employment law landscape.
