I joined Higgs at the start of 2026, having worked in another large regional law firm for just over eight years.

I began my career in law as a Business Administrator in the Trusts and Estates Department after obtaining my law degree. I became a fee earner a year after completing my law degree and have been advising clients on all aspects of probate and estate administration for just over 7 years. I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in June 2022. 

My work in probate and estate administration involves managing the practical, legal, and financial steps required to finalise a person's affairs following their death. 

I enjoy working in estate administration because it allows me to guide people through an important and emotional life stage with understanding and support. I also enjoy dealing with matters that involve additional complexity, such as inheritance tax calculations and trusts.

I have experience in dealing with estate administration files where a will has been left and where an individual has died intestate. In addition, I have experience with estates involving complex family circumstances, overseas assets and beneficiaries, and agricultural land and businesses.

As of July 2025, I am a Full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
