Lillie Fisher
Trainee Solicitor - Estates and Court of Protection
"I’m currently a third seat trainee completing a split seat in Estate Administration and Court of Protection. ”
I began my legal career at Higgs LLP in August 2021, working in the Court of Protection team. During this time, I developed a strong understanding of the legal and practical challenges involved in protecting vulnerable individuals and their assets. This experience really shaped my approach to client work, balancing empathy with a clear, solution focused mindset. I also developed a keen interest in supporting those who have experienced life-changing injuries, particularly when their ongoing care and financial security require the Court of Protection's support.
I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2021 with a First Class Honours degree in Law. I went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in July 2024, while continuing to work full time at the firm.
Since starting my training contract in September 2024, I’ve completed seats in Personal Injury, where I worked on multi-track serious injury cases, and in Contentious Trusts and Probate, gaining experience in high-value estate disputes and contentious Court of Protection matters. I’m now in my third seat, split between the Estate Administration and Court of Protection teams, where I’m continuing to build my experience across a variety of private client areas.
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active and going to the gym, travelling and exploring new places, and spending time in the kitchen cooking or baking something new.
