I joined Higgs LLP in April 2025 as a Legal Assistant. Prior to joining Higgs, I worked in the medical indemnity industry.
I assist the fee earners in the medical negligence team with file administration, client enquiries, requesting and reviewing medical records and reviewing medical expert reports.
My role is to ensure I provide the support needed for fee earners to secure compensation on their cases while learning from this assistance for my professional development in the future.
- I have assisted and attended court for a birth injury claim.
- Dealt with new enquiry calls.
- Supported fee earners with medical record reviews on a number of different files, including helping to assess the next steps in instructing experts on a spinal injury claim.
