I joined Higgs in July 2022 as an Office Assistant in the Legal Services team. In March 2024, I had the pleasure of joining the Medical Negligence team as a Legal Assistant.
I assist the team's lawyers on a variety of files to support and ensure our client's claim runs smoothly.
In my role, I assist with requesting and reviewing medical records, instructing experts, organising and attending conferences/meetings, preparing schedules of loss and drafting letters of claim to the defendant.
I am currently completing a paralegal apprenticeship. Following this, I plan to complete further training to qualify as a lawyer in medical negligence.
