"I have particular expertise and experience in guiding fast growing businesses through seed, venture capital, scale up and private equity funding rounds, and on to exit.”

As a partner in the corporate law team, I head up our tech and high growth offering and advise clients across a broad spectrum of corporate matters including disposals, mergers and acquisitions, investments, private equity and venture capital arrangements, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and corporate governance.

I am one of the most active venture capital advisors in the region and have particular expertise and experience in guiding funds, investee businesses and management teams through seed, venture capital, scale up and private equity funding rounds, and my aim, whether acting for corporate, institution or individual, is to cut through typical transactional noise with a proactive, creative and commercially focused approach.

I’m committed to supporting the tech and high growth ecosystem in the midlands and a regular speaker at accelerators support programmes and other relevant events.

I am consistently a ranked lawyer in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, have been shortlisted as emerging dealmaker of the year at the Insider dealmakers awards, and, way back in 2013, was named Birmingham young professional of the year in the legal sector.

I qualified as a lawyer in 2010 and joined Higgs in 2013.
