We’re celebrating Carers Week at Higgs – which runs annually in June.
At Higgs, our expert Personal Injury team, led by Partner Andy Shaw represents individuals who have sustained serious injury. At times our clients are vulnerable. However, with the support of Client Support Manager, Becky Littlechild – a registered social worker- and the wider team, they are helped through a trying, complex and emotional period of their lives, often with the additional guidance from their carer.
The team often work alongside carers to provide unwavering support and extended care to people who have suffered serious injury. They help clients to navigate their claim, obtaining financial support for medical expenses, rehabilitation and ongoing care and, ultimately, to rebuild their lives .
This dedicated week in our calendar serves as a reminder of the critical role that carers play in the lives of those affected by serious injury.
