Award-winning, multi-regional law firm Higgs LLP has announced a further round of senior promotions, continuing a period of significant growth that has seen the firm complete two strategic acquisitions, celebrate its 150th anniversary and achieve Gold accreditation from Investors in People.
New Partners Richard Ferguson and Aman Sahota-Dhatt have both played key roles in the continued success and growth of the firm, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise, commercial insight and commitment to client service. Legal Directors Katie Williams, Jo Walker and Debra Cottam have each made significant contributions within their respective teams and are recognised for their dedication to colleagues, clients and the wider business.
This news comes hot-on-the-heels of its announcement on 1 May whereby the firm made its biggest ever round of promotions to date, demonstrating its continued investment in talent during a period of significant growth and transformation.
The promotions follow a period of strategic expansion for Higgs, including the acquisitions of Edinburgh-based Vialex Limited and Navigator Employment Law, together with Shropshire-based McKenzie Law, further strengthening the firm's position as a leading regional law firm serving businesses and private clients across the UK.
The promotions span the firm’s Employment Law, Real Estate and Corporate Tax teams.
These promotions reflect not only individual achievement but also our commitment to creating meaningful career opportunities within Higgs. We are proud to invest in our people and to see talented colleagues progressing into leadership roles as the firm continues to grow. What they all have in common is the positive impact they have on our clients and colleagues. Supporting people to grow and succeed is woven into our culture, and it is fantastic to celebrate their achievements.
