This year marks a significant moment for Higgs LLP and its growth strategy – effective 1 May the firm is celebrating its biggest round of promotions, reflecting its commitment to continued investment in its people and to its mission of becoming the UK’s go-to law firm for owner-managed businesses and the people that build and run them.
Congratulations to new Senior Associates Simrit Chahal, Sarah-Jane Goodswen, Jodie Johnson, Eleanor Martin and Chloe Shilton, and new Principal Associates Victoria Boucher, Katherine Cooke, David White, Claire Whittall and Elizabeth Wickson, whose promotions recognise not only individual achievement, but the collective capability that continues to drive the firm forward.
The promotions span nine teams across the firm including Wealth, Employment, Personal Injury, Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence, Corporate Tax, Family, Restructuring and Insolvency and Property Litigation.
Among those promoted are individuals who began their careers with the firm, progressing and developing their skills over time, alongside those who have joined more recently and quickly become an integral part of the business. Together, they represent a rich mix of experience, insight and ambition, underlining the strength of the firm’s talent pipeline.
This latest milestone comes at an exciting time for Higgs LLP. Building on the momentum of its 150th year in 2025, the firm is growing and evolving into a multi-regional business with clear and ambitious plans for the future.
