Sangeeta Kohli

I joined Higgs as a Senior Associate in March 2026. I qualified as a solicitor in 2019, and prior to joining Higgs, I was an Associate at a large national law firm. 

Client care and providing the best client experience are at the core of my practice; as such, I give practical advice to clients and guide them through every stage of the legal process, whilst also ensuring they feel supported and informed.

I have considerable expertise in matters arising from relationship breakdown, including divorce, separation and the resolution of financial issues, cohabitation disputes and child arrangements. I also advise families and individuals on protecting wealth through the preparation of bespoke cohabitation or separation agreements. 

I am committed to supporting vulnerable clients and have had the opportunity to lecture on honour-based crimes alongside the police. I also have expertise in advising parents, grandparents, and other family members regarding child arrangements arising from the breakdown of a relationship. 

Alongside my work, I am also committed to supporting local students in their legal education through mentoring and guest lecturing on family law topics and a career in law generally.
