"I started my legal career in 1990 and I have worked in personal injury since 2004. I joined Higgs in 2013.”

As a result of working in the personal injury sector for several years now, I have first-hand knowledge of how accidents affect the client. The client’s needs come first, and their recovery is paramount to putting them back in the position as far as possible to before their accident. Providing support and guidance to them and their families taking the stress out of the legal process.

Higgs pride themselves on their strong relationships with national charities, such as Headway and the Spinal Injuries Association, as well as rehabilitation providers. We work together to address our clients' immediate and long-term needs so that they can get better as soon as possible.

  • Securing settlement for a client who had been injured in a road traffic accident recovering from serious musculoskeletal injuries and progressing to starting a family.
  • Securing settlement for a client who sustained a brain injury following a road traffic accident who required a Deputyship Order to assist with financial planning for the remainder of his life.
  • Assisting Andy Shaw in securing a compensation award of £620,000 for the client who suffered significant injuries to his right leg after falling off scaffolding whilst working on a building site.
