I advise on various areas of commercial property litigation, from 1954 Act lease renewals and dilapidations claims to service charge disputes, injunctions, and telecoms work.
I have substantial property litigation experience, having worked as a paralegal prior to qualifying in 2019. Before joining Higgs, I worked at another regional firm.
I particularly enjoy assisting clients with advice on adverse possession and trespass claims.
I have acted for individuals, corporations and charities on a wide range of commercial property disputes.
I am a member of the Property Litigation Association and am the current Chair of the Midlands Division of the Junior Property Litigation Association.
- I have successfully defended an adverse possession claim at Tribunal and have made numerous successful adverse possession claims on behalf of individuals and companies.
- I have successfully brought several squatter and protest injunctions on behalf of Landowners to regain possession of their property.
- I have acted for both Landlords and Tenants in commercial lease renewal claims and successfully brought contested lease renewal proceedings.
