Higgs LLP has been named a finalist in the ‘Growth Through Acquisition’ category at The Business Desk West Midlands Growth Awards, recognising the firm’s ambitious growth strategy and its ambition to be the UK’s go-to law firm for owner-managed businesses and the people and families that build and run them.
The shortlist follows a significant year of expansion for Higgs, which completed the acquisition of Edinburgh-based Vialex Limited and Navigator Employment Law in February, before acquiring Shropshire-based McKenzie Law in June.
The acquisitions represent important milestones in Higgs’ ambition to be a leading multi-regional law firm - central to this growth has been Higgs’ robust integration strategy, led by Head of Integration, Adrienne Mansfield-Cant. The focus on successful integration is fundamental to Higgs’ long-term plans and the approach reflects Higgs’ belief that growth must deliver lasting value for its people, clients and communities while creating new opportunities for colleagues.
