Samantha Bates

I joined the court of protection team at Higgs LLP in November 2023, following being an office assistant within the firm in August 2021. Throughout my time as an office assistant, I assisted the team with all their physical client files and made sure they were up to date.

As a legal assistant, I assist the wider team to manage the day-to-day administration of our deputyship appointments in which we are appointed as deputy. I ensure that all our client’s property and financial needs are met in a timely manner and I enjoy making a positive impact to our client’s lives.

I am an active member of the Proud Together Committee and believe that Higgs LLP is an inclusive and diverse place to work. I look forward to working with the committee to continue to champion inclusion in the firm.
