Molly Southall says the support from other apprentices and her team leader have been invaluable as she takes the first steps in her legal career.
Molly has embarked on an 18-month Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship with Higgs, having previously completed Design Engineering Construction and Business BTEC qualifications.
“My apprenticeship is going well and I’m confident that I am on a good path towards progressing within the legal industry,” said the 20-year-old.
“There was a period when I was a little unsure, but I was able to reach out to my team leader and other office assistants and they gave me the support and encouragement to continue.
“Higgs has a really close-knit team and that’s really important to me.”
Molly has two half-days to complete the theoretical elements of her apprenticeship.
There are nine modules in total which are designed to build confidence and increase technical and managerial skills.
Each module takes six weeks to complete and consists of pre-work and activities, supported by webinars and coach calls.
Nikki Butler, Office Assistant Team Leader, said: “Some of the benefits I have seen in some of the apprentices is that their confidence has grown. They have enhanced communication skills, they are enjoying learning and researching while they are completing the apprenticeship modules and they also want to learn so they can progress in their career.”
