Laura Belcher

I joined the wealth team at Higgs LLP in January 2022 as a secretary and progressed to the role of a legal assistant in January 2024.

As a legal assistant within the wealth team, I play a pivotal role in supporting fee earners with a range of tasks relating to wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trust matters. My responsibilities extend to assisting with the management of files and ensuring smooth operations and organisation within the team.

I also actively engage in handling any new inquiries for the wealth team. I assist clients who are inquiring about the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney and trusts. The opportunity to engage with clients from the outset, assist them through their inquiries and form the foundation of trusted relationships, adds a satisfying dimension to my work.
