Legal Assistant - Wealth Preservation

"I am a legal assistant within the Wealth Preservation Team at Higgs LLP. I assist with various aspects of Private Client work, with a particular focus on wills, lasting powers of attorney and trust administration.”

I joined the private client team at Higgs LLP in October 2023. I commenced my legal career in July 2022 after graduating with a First-Class Honours Degree in LLB Law from Nottingham Law School and completing my LPC and Legal Masters (LLM), both with a distinction.

Prior to joining Higgs, I worked in a fast-paced court of protection team assisting in deputyship matters. This has provided me with an excellent understanding of capacity relating issues and provided the foundation for further Private Client work.

I work closely with fee-earners in a range of matters, assisting in various elements of estate planning.

I will commence my training contract with the firm in September 2024 and look forward to developing my knowledge in this rewarding area of work in the meantime.

Outside of work, I am always seeking my next adventure: I have always loved travel and experiencing different places and cultures. I enjoy keeping active and have recently completed my first half-marathon.

"Now my mother’s estate has been finalised, I will in many ways miss the connection I had with Higgs, especially to Ruth Round, who was always my steadfast rock!"

Mrs Hilary Bromley

" ... I have been so impressed with the way that you have handled this complex estate and feel sure that you will have a long and very successful career ..."

Mr John Davies

"You explained our options clearly; and your diligence in restarting the whole process, when the additional complication of the death of the sole executor, for whom we were acting as Power-of-Attorney occurred, took an enormous weight from our shoulders."
