I'm a paralegal in the Tax team at Higgs LLP, having previously built 4 years' experience specialising in commercial property transactions. Before joining Higgs, I worked at other award-winning law firms, advising on both residential and commercial property matters, which has given me a strong commercial foundation that I now bring to my work in Tax.
I've supported clients across a wide range of transactions and matters, and I place real importance on understanding the day-to-day running of their businesses. This allows me to provide pragmatic, commercially focused solutions that genuinely work for them. I enjoy building long-lasting relationships with clients and being part of their journey as they grow and develop.
I have passed SQE 1 and am currently preparing for SQE 2 as part of my route to qualification. Outside of work, I'm a keen Formula 1 follower, enjoy travelling, and like to keep up to date with global politics.
- Acquisition – Assisted the NHS Trust in acquiring several new units across several hospitals to help expand their Pathology departments.
- Disposal – Assisted a local GP practice in the sale of their GP.
- Landlord and Tenant – Assisted an expanding international food storage and distribution company in carrying out additional works to their commercial property within the UK, so they can operate their business more efficiently and effectively.
