Higgs LLP today announces that it has acquired Vialex Limited, a Scottish based legal business, together with its specialist employment law arm, Navigator Employment Law Limited.
Vialex Limited is a provider of corporate and commercial legal services to high growth, mid-market and private equity backed owner-managed businesses and is known for its outsourced Legal Counsel Service and transactional expertise.
Navigator Employment Law Limited is a provider of employment and health & safety legal services. The transaction establishes a new base in Edinburgh for Higgs LLP and marks a significant step in the firm’s strategic growth across the UK.
This deal brings together Higgs’ legacy of forging long-term relationships that have a positive impact on its people, clients and business partners with Vialex Limited and Navigator’s renowned reputation for embedded in‑house style support and mid‑market and private equity corporate capability.

Vialex Limited, (which is not regulated by the Law Society of Scotland,) brings a strong reputation for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to businesses operating throughout the United Kingdom. Its integration into Higgs LLP will enhance the firm’s corporate and commercial offering, while Navigator Employment Law Limited adds further depth and expertise to Higgs’ employment practice.
The Vialex Limited and Navigator combined teams will continue to operate from Edinburgh, providing clients with seamless access to legal advice alongside specialist corporate, commercial and employment support. The transaction reflects Higgs’ commitment to investing in high-quality talent and expanding its ability to support clients with complex, UK-wide legal needs.
