Hot-on-the heels of winning two awards at the West Midlands Rainmaker Awards earlier this month, the Corporate team at Higgs is now in the running for four Insider Midlands Dealmaker Awards, following the announcement of the shortlist this morning.
The team has received six shortlistings for:
- Corporate Law Firm of the Year: Higgs LLP
- Corporate Lawyer of the Year: Richard Griffiths
- Deal of the Year (sub £10m): BGF’s investment in Opus Safety
- Deal of the Year (sub £10m): Management buyout of EA Ellisons
- Deal of the Year (£10m-£50m): LDC's investment in Deltron Group
- Deal of the Year (£10m-£50m): Sale of Phoenix Health and Safety to Wilmington plc
The awards, which have become the biggest celebration of the Midlands’ M&A profession in the region and now in their 31st year, take place in Birmingham on 11 September and are attended by around 800 professionals.
