Higgs’ award-winning Corporate team has advised the Huckerby family on the sale of Ardencote Manor Hotel & Spa. Led by Partner, Joel Nixon, Higgs advised on the sale of the share of interest in the operating company.
The 110-bedroom hotel, set in 83 acres was sold to Barons Eden Group who have substantial plans for the property and business.
According to Experian, the corporate law team is ranked 2nd in the Midlands for M&A deal volume and earlier this year they retained their crown of Regional Law Firm of the Year at the West Midlands Rainmaker awards. They have also received eight nods in this year’s shortlist for the Insider Midlands Dealmaker Awards coming later this month, which includes Corporate Law Firm of the Year, Corporate Lawyer of the Year and many deal categories, including International Deal of the Year.
