A Malvern Hills walk to raise money for a charity which supports children who suffer serious brain injuries has received the backing of a leading Midlands law firm.
Higgs LLP is sponsoring the Child Brain Injury Trust’s (CBIT) Malvern Hills Challenge on Sunday, September 11.
Individuals, families and businesses are all invited to take part in the challenge which will see participants take on a course of around 7.5 miles in the spectacular Worcestershire scenery.
Anyone interested in booking places on the walk, which starts at 10.30am, can visit their website.
Claire Burnell, a Principal Associate in the personal injury team at Higgs LLP, said: “This is a significant event for the Child Brain Injury Trust, and we are thrilled to be lending our support, both in terms of volunteering at the event and entering corporate teams.
“The CBIT is a charity close to many of us at Higgs LLP, particularly those of us working in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence teams.
“Sadly, we come into contact with a number of cases where a child suffers brain injuries and the work that CBIT does is outstanding, not only in making a prompt diagnosis but also helping both the child and family enjoy the best quality of life possible post-injury.
“The Malvern Hills Challenge is a big fundraising event for the charity, and we look forward to doing what we can to support on the day, as well as participating.
The cost of entering the event is £45 for individuals, £100 for families and £300 for a corporate team.
