Our annual charity conference will be taking place on Thursday 5 September from 9.30 am at our Waterfront offices in Brierley Hill.
While risk has always been on trustees’ agendas, there has been an increasing focus from the Charity Commission and other regulators on avoiding risk, as at the same time risks are increasing on many fronts including squeezed funding and the ever prevalent social media. With that backdrop in mind, our conference this year looks at risk and compliance.
In the first session of our conference we’ll flag legal and financial control aspects and recent regulatory issues. We’ll then have an extended panel session with a number of specialists looking at the many ways risks can be avoided and mitigated.
In each session, our expert speakers will discuss the issues and challenges facing the sector and give practical guidance to help you support your organisation.
