Did you know that Companies House introduced the first set of legislative changes under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA) on 4 March 2024?
There are further changes coming into effect on 18 November under the Act which may impact you and your company in the immediate short term.
For example, if you are a Director, you will need to have completed your individual ID verification at Companies House to obtain your 11-character personal code. This personal code will be required as part of your company's confirmation statement filed immediately after 18 November 2025. If you are a Director of more than one company, you will need to do this for each company.
If you are registering a new company, you will be asked to provide the Companies House personal code for each Director as part of the registration filing. There are also changes for People with Significant Control (PSC) which you need to know about.
Register for this informative webinar (online via Zoom) which will address what you need to do and how to prepare, ahead of 18 November.
