Melissa Pugh is learning more about law every day – and the technical language is becoming clearer, too.

Melissa has begun a Business Administration Apprenticeship with Higgs.

Though daunting at first, she is now feeling very at home at the Brierley Hill headquarters.

Melissa said: “I have enjoyed learning more about law and the different sections of law.

“Coming from someone who has never worked in a law firm before, the apprenticeship has helped me massively.

“I am learning how to act professionally at work and the different terminology used in my day-to-day job.

“I think apprenticeships are important for firms as it allows individuals to progress with their career. I am on the journey of achieving my long-term career goals – and I’m very grateful for the opportunity.”
