Mia Clews believes her Business Administration Apprenticeship is helping build skills in her personal life as well as in work.

Office Assistant Mia has started on a journey she hopes will result in her becoming a fully-fledged solicitor.

Mia said: “Since starting my apprenticeship I have learnt so much about business administration as well as building my knowledge of law.

“As part of the apprenticeship I complete activities which I can relate to my daily work life. More than that, though, I’m also developing new skills which are helping in my day-to-day life outside of work.

“The apprenticeship has really helped me and I am grateful to be on it and a part of the Office Assistant team. “

Mia’s role means she is being exposed to many different aspects of law on a daily basis.

“My long-term career goal is to hopefully become a solicitor,” she said. “That has always been a dream of mine.

“Every module I do is applied to law and I benefit greatly from working with different departments across Higgs.

“I don’t think the firm could’ve done any more for me – they’ve been very helpful.”
